# Public homepage assets

These are illustrative media examples, independent of any Hearth user's library.
The public page identifies them as examples and credits their creators. None of
the media is a bundled game, film or comic catalogue.

The painted Hearth marks, den and shelf scenes, app icon and Fredoka font are
existing project assets. There are no generated fictional game or comic covers
in this homepage. Keep source attribution when replacing or adapting these files.


## Expanded collection (second pass)

Game artwork below is promotional material from each game's official Steam store
assets. Copyright remains with the creators; showing a cover does not imply a
bundled game, a license to redistribute it, or an endorsement. Assets are resized
to WebP; the page crops some inside frames. Steam header source pattern:

Celeste's wide illustration is the official `library_hero.jpg`. Stardew Valley
and Hollow Knight scenery comes from screenshots in the corresponding Steam
store API response, not generated imagery.

VPN marks illustrate providers supported by the [Gluetun server integration](https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun).
They do not promise one-click account setup or protection of all device traffic.
The public demo makes no network connections to providers or to Hearth's API.

## Steam and update-source marks

`steam.svg` and `itchio.svg` use the canonical [Simple Icons Steam](https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons/blob/develop/icons/steam.svg)
and [itch.io](https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons/blob/develop/icons/itchdotio.svg)
brand paths (CC0-1.0). The icon archive was searched first; itch.io's spelling and
aliases were also archived. `patreon.svg` reuses the app's existing
`renderer/icons/topbar/patreon.svg` brand mark. All trademarks remain with their
owners. These identify integrations, not an endorsement. Update-watcher names and
version numbers are illustrative and never come from a user's library.

Comic pages are resized WebP copies; these are separate sample pages, not a complete issue. No private Hearth records or media are used. All media is stored with this page; no third-party asset request occurs while browsing.

## Link preview

`share-card.jpg` is a 1200×630 browser-rendered composition of Hearth's existing
PG desktop/mobile UI captures, Celeste promotional artwork and the Monstress
cover credited above. It contains no private library data. Rebuild with
`scripts/build-homepage-share-card.cjs` (Playwright Core and Chromium required).
